Founded by Timofey, a veteran music producer, and Christian Pedersen, an experienced engineer, Sound Rogue is all about creating products that feel natural, are built to last, and solve real-world problems in professional studios. We’re not here to make grand claims; we’re here to make gear that works better, simply and efficiently.
The Journey Begins
Timofey has spent years in the music industry, producing alongside some of the biggest names and spending countless hours in studios. Over time, he saw the same issues cropping up: gear that took up too much space, wasn’t intuitive, or didn’t quite fit the needs of modern producers. What Timofey wanted was straightforward: a reliable, space-saving tool that streamlined his workflow without sacrificing quality.
A Chance Meeting
At Tomorrowland, Timofey met Christian Pedersen through a mutual friend, and their conversation quickly turned to their shared passions: music, technology, and efficiency. Christian, with over 30 years of experience and a track record of more than 500 successful projects, was the perfect partner. With a deep understanding of electronics and user-focused design, Christian knew how to take Timofey’s ideas and turn them into something real.
Together, they formed Sound Rogue, and the first product to emerge from this collaboration was the MIDI-9.
